I picked up some 75W-90 BO oil as supplied by my local Ford parts dept. which was matched to my reg. It's Ford spec WSD-M2C200-C but I read on forums this might not be the right oil for my MMT6 box.

It could also be blocked EGR or something wrong with the DPF or its sensors... Get forscan on it, and post the trouble codes. WebMay 22, 2013 · The fix is an oil & filter change and an ECU update, they say. The service manager says it's an oversensitive sensor relating to the DPF, which reports the oil has become contaminated and is putting the DPF at risk. The ECU update is supposed to reset the parameters for the sensor. Oil drop, filter & update is free, under warranty.
